The Website
Graytown.org is a Perth guide providing information of all the hidden gems to Perth newcomers. There are currently many projects being undertaken to feed useful information in new innovative ways. We believe it is a beginning of a new era of information exchange and our new fresh approach will benefit those seeking local information about Perth. The website is run by the Graytown club.
About Graytown
Graytown is a not for profit organisation and club aimed at bringing cultural understanding between local Australians and newcomers to Perth. Through regular functions and events, the aim is to provide a safe environment for overseas students to settle into Perth. Graytown has a particular focus on the Japanese community however the club is open to all.
The club is a community of like minded people who want to experience the uniqueness of Perth. The club is run on the support of its members and is is built for the interest of its members.
By being active within the community and organising events, the club aims to clear many of the misconceptions that exist about Japanese people. It is not an organisation that enforces propaganda on its people, but as the club grows we hope the general public will develop a better understanding of Japanese people and culture.
